South Korea saw a seasonally adjusted current account surplus of $4.97 billion in September, the Bank of Korea said on Tuesday.

That's down from $7.78 billion in August.

The financial account saw a net outflow of $4.52 billion, down from $7.66 billion in the previous month - while the capital account had a deficit of $0.07 billion.

Unadjusted, the current account registered a surplus of $6.57 billion in September.
