Australia will release a batch of economic data on Monday, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

On tap are the September figures for retail sales, October numbers for job advertisements and inflation outlook, as well as Q3 data for house prices.

Retail sales were up 0.4 percent on month in August. Job ads added 0.2 percent on month in September, while the inflation forecast was up 0.2 percent on month and 2.1 percent on year. House prices in Q2 gained 2.4 percent on quarter and 5.1 percent on year.

New Zealand will see October results for the ANZ commodity price index; in September, the index gained 0.9 percent.

Finally, markets in Japan (Culture Day), Malaysia and Singapore (Deepavali) will be closed on Monday, and will re-open on Tuesday.
