Japan is on Tuesday scheduled to release final numbers for the May leading and coincident indexes, headlining a modest day for Asian economic news. Analysts are expecting little change from the preliminary scores that saw on the leading index and 101.2 on the coincident index.

Thailand is set to announce June figures for imports, exports and trade balance. Imports are expected to rise 35 percent on year after surging an annual 55.1 percent in May. Exports are called higher by 34.5 percent on year after jumping 42.1 percent in the previous month. The trade balance is tipped to show a surplus of $1.266 billion following the $2.2 billion surplus a month earlier.

Taiwan will announce export orders for June, with forecasts calling for an increase of 21.7 percent on year after rising 34.03 percent in May.

Hong Kong will provide the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for June, with analysts expecting the rate to hold steady at 4.6 percent.
