The euro escalated to one-week highs versus the US dollar Thursday following the latest minutes of the Federal Reserve rendered little indication on the timing of rate hikes.

The currency edged up 0.07% to 1.3649, the highest since July 3.

Aside from rate increases, the officials agreed to conclude its asset purchase program in October.

Elsewhere, the euro tumbled against the Japanese yen, dipping 0.11% to ¥138.49, above Tuesday’s ¥138.10.
