19.02.202609:00:00UTC+00Poland’s Producer Prices Extend Deflation in January, PPI Falls 2.6% Year-on-Year

Poland’s producer prices continued to decline at the start of 2026, with the Producer Price Index (PPI) falling 2.6% year-on-year in January. The latest data, updated on 19 February 2026, shows a slight deepening of deflationary pressure compared with December 2025, when the PPI was down 2.5% year-on-year.

The figures are based on a year-over-year comparison, meaning January 2026 producer prices are measured against those of January 2025, while the previous reading compared December 2025 with December 2024. The marginal shift from -2.5% to -2.6% suggests that input cost pressures for Polish producers remain subdued, with little sign yet of a sustained turnaround in factory-gate prices.
