Singapore's gross domestic product expanded 24.0 percent in the second quarter compared to the previous three months, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Tuesday in a final reading.

That was down from last month's initial reading that saw a 25.6 percent quarterly increase.

On an annual basis, GDP was up 18.8 percent on year - again revised down from the preliminary increase of 19.3 percent.

As a result of the data, the MTI is maintaining its economic growth forecast for 2010 at 13.0 to 15.0 percent.
